Frankly, It's Fall

The latest collection from Paul Frank is loaded with plaid and flannel and the signature humor that we've come to expect.

Convy flannel shirt in blue and orange, $68

Inspired by lumberjacks, built for you. Double button-flap chest pockets, barrel cuffs, and partial lining makes this a layering piece for fall. Whether it's still early September and you use it like a shirt jacket or it's late November and you're bundling up as much as you can, the subtle plaid on both colorways make them great wardrobe staples.

Elwyn hooded jacket, $82

With detachable sleeves and arms, this number is practically four garments in one. Our favorite look so far is as a hooded vest, for an off-kilter approach to layering. The body is lined in fleece and the hood is lined with jersey for an ultra-comfortable fit. Double button-flap chest pockets, kangaroo pockets, and a secret pocket on the back make this as utilitarian as it is comfy.

Dorky and Dapper

Paul Frank keeps the geek chic aesthetic alive with their latest batch of summer stuff. As always, it's an easy, polished look with a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor. And they've started rebranding all their items.

Audio-Visual Brief, $14

For any and all A/V geeks out there; a slightly less outward show of your love for electronics. Turntables, computers, and wristwatches form a bold graphic pattern.

Roboflauge boxer briefs, $18

What looks like standard army camflauge is actually an eye-catching print of robots done in camo greens, browns, and khakis. Some highbrow, high-tech humor for your underwear drawer.

Harrison shirt, $52

An all-over plaid in neutral khaki and browns, the Harrison features a button-down chest pocket and a rear shoulder yoke. Another piece in a great season for short-sleeved shirts.

Cera polo, $52

Cool polo for the summer in red, blue, and white horizontal stripes (a little late for the Fourth of July, though), the Cera might be a reference to Michael Cera's dorky character on Arrested Development. Or maybe it's just another funky polo.

Paul Frank - Spring/Summer

The last bits of Paul Frank's spring/summer stuff has come in and it's as tongue-in-chic as ever.

Go For Gold boxer briefs, $16

Like how Speedos look? Hate how they feel? Not really wanting to be taken seriously in your underwear? Channel your inner gold medal-winning diver in these hilarious boxer briefs.

El Skurvy shorts, $52

Boardshorts get a twist with one of Paul Frank's signature skull patch on the left leg and elastic mesh inserts along the inseam.

Rickson short-sleeved polo, $54

Contrast stitching around the sleeve cuffs and hem and screenprinted graphics at the chest pocket and on the back add nice graphic touches to a classic shirt.

City Park t-shirt, $27

Black and red screenprinted retro-inspired graphics show a stylized cityscape on this easy tee for summer.

Montalbon short-sleeved button-up, $54
